Bangalore was awesome! I've never been more surrounded by nice people who really took their work seriously.

The whole point of the last 2 weeks in India was to colocate a bunch of software engineers and produce a minimum viable product. For my team, 75% of our engineers are in Bangalore. It was so helpful to put us in the same room at the same time. Anyone who has worked from the states with a team located half a world away in India knows that a 12 hour time difference can mean at least a 24 hour delay in responses. It is so difficult to accomplish anything meaningful with delays like that.
Fortunately, this AppStudio put us all together. It stripped us of specific roles. Data, programmers, QA all working on whatever tasks needed to be accomplished. And did we accomplish things. We turned out in two weeks software we hadn't been able to produce in the 3 months leading up to the AppStudio.

Bull Temple
I did get out into the city. Parliament was visited. We saw Bull Temple and went shopping. Lots to see in Bangalore.
The Hub
I hope the engineers in Bangalore know they are appreciated and very necessary to our success. They are good people. I look forward to working with them in Bangalore in the future.
